Fox Class dressed up as characters from their favourite books for World Book Day 2018. Can you guess who we are?
|Our exciting new topic for the Spring term is the Tudors – we will be finding out about the Tudor kings and queens, making and eating Tudor food and creating Tudor arts and crafts.|
We have been looking at Tudor portraits and carefully recreating them in our Art lessons. We needed to take our time in order to include all the details.
We looked at the portraits of Henry VIII and his six wives, and we also looked at portraits of his children.
We enjoyed our exciting visit to Hampton Court!
We have been busy with our Tudor cross stitch embroidery…
We finished our topic off with a fun packed Tudor Day complete with Tudor dancing and Tudor biscuits!

During the Autumn term, we have been settling in well to our new classroom. We have been working hard on our topic of Antarctica and have created an exciting display.
We made some very cute penguins!
We have also been using the Loch Ness monster as our stimulus in our English lessons and we have been writing about ‘Nessie’ in a variety of genres.
In Fox Class, we think of others. We use our Prayer and Reflection areas to create our prayers.
Our Reflection Area gives us time to think and reflect.
